'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return

Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is open to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is currently halfway through the four-year contract he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, helping them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which marked the initial major achievement of his illustrious career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he earlier was, and would definitely consider lengthening his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had eluded him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after breaking his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
